Knuthenborg Safari Park

You'll find the impressive Knuthenborg Safari Park. The park was originally laid out in English manor style around 1866, and a 7.5 km long stone wall with 4 distinctive entrances was built around the nearly 600 hectare park. Knuthenborg Safari Park has a wide range of activities to suit an adventurous holiday outing. Visit the cafeteria or bring along your own picnic to enjoy in the beautiful, spacious and green surroundings. Come see the exciting bird paradise where 21 large aviaries house a multitude of gorgeously coloured exotic birds. Enjoy the vast number of rare trees and bushes, some of which were planted at the time of the original English manor-style grounds.

Vor Frelsers Kirke

Church of Our Saviour is situated in the romantic surroundings of Christianshavn, the island between Copenhagen city and Amager. Architect Lambert von Haven built the church in 1696. At that time, the church could not afford a spire, so the beautiful tower that now crowns Vor Frelsers Kirke was not added until 1752. Now the tower with its twisted gold and copper spire, which takes you 95 metres and 400 steps above ground-level, is the most famous part of the church. From the top you have a splendid view. The spire has been newly restored and now looks just great. The interior is interesting too. Note the relief depicting the elephant that seems to bear the organ. The elephant is a symbol of the highest order of nobility achievable in Denmark.

The church is also famous for its advanced carillon.

Roskilde

Roskilde is an ancient city, and was the capital of Denmark until about 1400, when that role transferred to Copenhagen. The city is a center of economics for the region with a central walking street with a myriad of shops, restaurants and cafes running down the center of the city. Several tourist attractions draw visitors from around Denmark and the world, along with an education program inviting international students to attend the local university for a year.

RIBE THE OLDEST CITIES IN DENMARK

Ribe is one of the oldest cities in Denmark. Sitting on Denmark's west coast, Ribe was an important Viking trading center as early as the 9th century.

My parents once both lived in Ribe and it has become a dream for me to one day visit. As of now it is unrealistic, but browsing www.topworld.com made me think about this again. I think I will write a book about this place and tell my parents story.

The eye is continually caught by new impressions; the cathedral rises at the end of the street at one moment, and at the next there is an unexpected glimpse of flat salt meadows with grazing cattle. Its details also make Ribe quite special: half-timbered houses with finely carved woodwork, doors with artistic adornments, street lamps that great grandmother knew, and so on.

See to Believe How Beautiful Denmark Is!!!!

Denmark was always one of those places that I would see or I can say one on my favorite’s country to visit. And I think, it would be expensive to go. I turn on my computer and get some information about Denmark. Finally I was there I couldn’t believe it. I was living in a dream. It is because I searched ahead through www.topworld.com and it helped me all the way.
